We are a women's voice choir who meet on Monday nights in Milnthorpe, South Cumbria. We sing a wide range of music (from Renaissance to modern), mainly a capella, in 3/4 parts (occasionally 6) and have challenged ourselves by singing in French and Finnish! Our present membership is just under 20 women of varying musical experience. In 2017 we were delighted to win the small group category in the local Mary Wakefield Festival. We welcome new members and currently do not audition.
Our current director is re-locating for family reasons. We are now looking for someone with good choral expertise who can work with amateur singers to develop our skills and further enhance our enjoyment of singing.
