Organisation: St Giles' and St George's, Ashtead

We are looking to appoint an Organist to work with our Choral Director and large, highly competent SATB robed choir, playing for BCP Evensong each week (Communion once a month) at St Giles' Parish Church, and to accompany for the midweek Friday rehearsal. 

We are looking for: 

• A high level of musicianship and excellent keyboard skills
• Experience across a wide range of church music and a flexible approach to new music
• The ability to communicate well and work collaboratively as part of the team
• Someone who can encourage other musicians (our organ scholar and singers in particular) to flourish in their music making
• A willingness to play for occasional special services (extra remuneration is provided)

A job share is possible so please get in touch if you fit the person spec but cannot play each week. 

Fees: RSCM rates are payable, with additional remuneration for special services such as weddings, funerals and carol services.
