The Phoenix Singers is a chamber choir of 20-30 singers drawn broadly from the Taunton Area of Somerset. We aspire to high standards, challenging music and interesting, eclectic programmes that both educate and entertain. The choir is looking for someone with demonstrable talent as a conductor with exceptional vocal coaching skills who will work with it to further improve the standard. The successful candidate will have relevant experience and understand a variety of musical genres, the ability to choose suitable music and have an over-arching artistic vision for the choir.
The post is available from September 2020. Renumeration is circa. £1,600pa.
