The Birmingham Canoldir Male Choir are seeking a new Musical Director to continue to lead and uphold its reputation as a leading Male Voice Choir and bring fresh challenges whilst constantly improving its standards.
The choir was established in 1966 and has a proud history, performing at many prestigious events and venues throughout the UK and achieving success in many competitions and is committed to supporting charities.
The choir aspires to high standards of choral discipline both in rehearsal and performance and currently performs,'off copy,' and is looking for an inspirational, experienced and innovative conductor who displays excellent communication skills and and ambition to take the choir forward.
The choir currently meet twice a week on Tuesday and Friday evenings at the Welsh Congregational Church in Birmingham ably assisted by two exceptional accompanists.The current format for rehearsals is negotiable for the right candidate.
