Organisation: English Baroque Choir

English Baroque Choir, one of London's finest amateur choirs, is seeking to appoint a new Musical Director to succeed Jeremy Jackman, who will be leaving us after 20 inspirational years.

The choir, an auditioned group of around 60 singers, enjoys an excellent reputation for musicality, imaginative programming and choral enthusiasm, performing sacred and secular music from the 15th to the 21st centuries. Rehearsals are held on Monday evenings at St Stephen's Church, Rochester Row, London SW1P 1LE.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of a wide choral repertoire, and have extensive experience working with amateur choirs and professional orchestras/instrumentalists and soloists.

The closing date for applications is Sunday 26th April 2020, with interviews for selected candidates planned for June 2020. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to rehearse the choir during the day on Saturday 12th September 2020. The successful candidate will take up the position in January 2021.
