We are looking for a talented, reliable and friendly Accompanist who will contribute to our enjoyable and hardworking rehearsal atmosphere.
Key responsibilities
- To play piano accompaniment at choir rehearsals and occasional events
- To play for concerts as required
- To conduct occasional rehearsals in the absence of the Music Director.
You will have
- Outstanding keyboard skills, especially at the piano
- Significant experience of accompanying a choir singing classical choral repertoire
- Excellent sight-reading and vocal score reading ability
-The ability to follow the conductor
- The ability to listen to singers and bring out voice parts where necessary
- Good transposition skills
