Closing date for applications: Friday 10th June, 5pm

We are seeking a Director of Music keen to enrich congregational engagement with the musical life of a parish, to continue the process of re-invigorating a tradition of excellent liturgical music begun under our outgoing Director of Music, building on the existing group of singers drawn from our community and supported by our organist.

In addition to a weekly rehearsal and a Sunday morning eucharist, the role includes time for recruitment, outreach, and engagement. We envisage a monthly musical event, a focus on building a strong choral identity through engaging with the local community, and developing new links with children and young people through music. We are open to exploring a variety of styles and musical traditions in order to develop the vibrancy of our eucharistic worship and in order to increase congregational enthusiasm for, and participation with, our musical life. The successful applicant will use their passion for making music and building community to enhance the eucharistic life and worship of a vibrant London parish!

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all those who are vulnerable. We expect all our staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service disclosure and identity check.
