The award winning Cotswold Youth Choirs (CYC) based in Burford, Oxfordshire seek a dynamic and enthusiastic Musical Director to help to further develop this highly successful organisation. The Director will be required to lead weekly rehearsals on Saturdays with both the Children's Choir, ages 7-11, and Youth Choir, ages 11-17, to ensure the continuing musical development of the members of CYC and the sustained development of the organisation as a whole.
The successful candidate will be experienced in leading young choirs, will be able to create a fun, encouraging and productive environment at every rehearsal and in performance. They will have relevant musical education and qualifications for the post of Musical Director and have a passion for working with young singers.
