As part of the Musicians Benevolent Fund’s 90th birthday celebration it is aiming to spread the word to choirs around the country about its 2011 Festival of Saint Cecilia anthem, this year composed by Ronald Corp.

To mark the 2012 London Olympics, Loughborough University offers both established composers and emerging new talent the opportunity to create a new choral work for the University Choir to perform with piano accompaniment during a concert in May 2012.

Genesis Sixteen open for applications »
The Sixteen’s free young artists’ scheme, open to 18 to 23-year olds, is open for application. With over twenty places available per year, successful applicants will partake in individual masterclasses and ensemble workshops led by key vocal coaches and directors in the choral music field.
